Paying for Your Dental Care
We always hate to hear of patients neglecting their dental health for financial reasons. So, here are some things to consider.
An Ounce of Prevention Is Worth a Pound of Cure
Did you know that exams and X-rays are free at our office and that hygiene visits typically are 100 percent covered by insurance? Or, if you are uninsured and do have to pay out of pocket, regular routine maintenance is less costly than “fix it” procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges and gum disease scaling. Therefore, your best bet to save money on dental bills is to come in for a checkup and cleaning every six months and for X-rays annually.
Dental Insurance: A Valuable Investment
You want your smile to last a lifetime, but sometimes things happen along the way, like injuries, cavities or gum disease. Our practice accepts most major dental insurance and discount plans. We are in-network for Always Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Delta Dental, Guardian, Met Life, United Concordia and United Healthcare, and out of network but still covered under hundreds of others. We even will file your insurance claims electronically for you and collect only your percentage portion the day of your appointment. Sorry, we do not take Medicaid.
